“For many years, I believed that substances enhanced my creativity and spiritual quest, but eventually I had to admit I had fallen prey to the lie of addiction. In the end, it left me broken and bruised. But with the help of others, I have been able to pick up the pieces and have taken the time to look at the underlying causes of why I felt incomplete.

When the dust finally settled, I went back to school and earned a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as my Certified Substance Abuse Counselor certificate. I feel like I have been gifted to not only find answers on my own quest, but to have the qualifications to work with others on theirs.
